Join Dr. Paul Moyse for an informal Introduction to Running session at the pavilion at Great Hollow Lake.  Learn the tips and tricks to have a great first (or first in a while) 5K from an experienced runner.

Dr. Moyse was the Sprint for Monroe/DARE race co director for 20 years. He is an avid runner and loves to share his knowledge and experience with others about how to run, run smart, and train effectively. You won’t want to miss this chance to hear from him. His running credentials are impressive:


Dr. Moyse has the following running credentials:

  • Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician
  • Certified Personal Fitness Trainer (ISSA)
  • Certified USATF Track and Field Official
  • Certified CT High School Track and Field Official
  • Medical Volunteer : New York City Marathon; CT Nutmeg Games; Special Olympics World Games
  • All American 3,000 meters 2004 and 2006
  • USATF/CT CT State Champion – Grandmasters – half marathon and overall 2004 and 2006
  • Completed 34 full marathons including Boston (12 times) and New York (8 times)
  • Past director of the Sprint for DARE and Sprint for Monroe
  • Running Concepts – established running/coaching/training program – since 2004
  • Great guy, handsome, smart, humble*
